I’m Tom owner and creator of MatureBackPackin. I first travelled around the world in  1994/5 . Now in my fifties my aim is to provide information on things to do around the world. These could be ideas of cheap days out or details of organised tours which cater for the more mature backpacker.

Our mission is to provide valuable travel information and tips to our readers. Whether these be free or cheap day activities to budget based adventure tours.

We started MatureBackPackin because we believe that travel is one of the most enriching experiences one can have in life. We wanted to create a platform where we can share our passion for travel and inspire others to explore the world.
